I am very interested in purchasing a new Powerbook. I am also weary of all these stories involving dead pixels on delivery. I dont care if I get them eventually as I know thats the nature of LCD's, but I feel they should not be there out of the box.
I am posting this poll to get an idea of how many of you have had these experiences.

I had one on my powerbook, was pretty hard to see but...
I used a sock and did the circular massage trick
Now it's gone !
Been using my Ti800 for 2 years and it's still as good

I have like a few 3 green ones...but very very samll like a 1/4 of a pixel....so I would not say it is a dead pixel it is more like 1/4 and you can really only see them when the screen is all black...the green stands out....
PS I love my TiBook

I have 6 Ti Powerbooks, 3 Ibook all without dead pixels, (even my 2 PB100 do not have dead pixels but they are just turned on once a year at my closet mac party(when I connect all old PBs & light up room!))
I guess I have been lucky!
