This morning I got to the voting place at 5:45am. Usually there are 5-8 folks in line. Today I was 30th in line, and by the time they opened the doors, at least 100 folks were in line. This is in Loudoun county VA, just west of DC.
It's almost as if old, white blowhards becoming president is something we've experienced before.
...that might make sense if he hadn't had the smallest crowd in 20 years (Edit: This is based on estimates I've heard. I haven't seen official numbers). Plus, have you seen the size of the crowds at his his rallies?!

A march filled to the brim with idiots who didn't bother to vote in the first place.

We'll see if the media will once again ignore the nearly one million people who will march in the upcoming March for Life. They may give it some coverage since Kellyanne "the first woman to run a winning POTUS camapaign" Conway will be a featured speaker. The media ignored the thousands participating in local "walks for life" that were occurring at the same time as the Planned Parenthood sponsored marches.
I wouldn't have thought it was possible, but worthless sh*tstains on the Left have actually made Richard ****ing Spencer an object of sympathy. Good job, losers.

Looks like most of the 217 arrested for destroying property etc will be charged with rioting. A felony! I hated them for blocking 295 for almost an hour with idiots screaming some BS and waving signs with some of the stupidest claims and such. Purely for the disruption, not the message. The tantrum shit is getting old snowflakes.
South Dakota Republican are on the verge of doing something that backfired spectacularly for congressional Republicans earlier this year: Getting rid of an independent ethics commission.
What is a politically tricky endeavor for any lawmaking body could be even more precarious for the state's lawmakers, given the commission they want to cut was approved by 51 percent of voters in a ballot initiative this November. The independent commission was part of a larger ethics reform package voters approved that put limits on campaign finance and lobbying access.

Perhaps this is obvious, but I don't think we'll see any GOP pushback on Trump until they get their tax cuts and such passed. As it is they're risking retaliation just when they disagree with him publicly.
Reports seem to indicate it could be both. It's certainly not a good thing for anyone that they are leaving, but no word yet if they jumped or were pushed.
So this. Interesting. I'm curious about our resident vocal Catholic's take on this. Is this thin edge of loosing of Birth Control prohibitions?
TL;DR: Guy in Catholic organisation gave out condoms as part of 'heath kits' to prevent spread of AIDS. Head of said organisation dismissed guy. Pope disagreed. Head of organisation told the Pope to mind his own business. Pope won the argument. Very simplistic summary- read the article for details if interested.
