Hi everyone,

Easy question:

I have an older G3 iBook battery, from the original 500Mhz white series. I have a new G4 iBook. Can i safely use the G3 series iBook battery in my whiter than white G4 iBook?

Cheers, AJ

Well, the reverse works (new iBook battery in older iBook). If anything, your battery might life might be shorter, the estimate for the time remaining might be off (maybe, depending on how it's set up and any conditioning). I'm not the expert, so this is just opinion.
