Have any of you all noticed the popularity lately of Bean Bag Horseshoes (I don't know a better name.. The game with two wooden boards with a whole in each..)?

This past summer every party I've gone to someone had a set and my friends and I have been playing all summer. I don't know why I'm posting this really other than wondering if this has been as popular as I've seen around the Chicago area...

I'm telling you, beer and bean bag horseshoes are all you need. I need to build a smaller "indoor set" for the approaching winter now..

Is it like "Toss Across"?

Remember the TV commercial where the dog drops in the winning beanbag?

Ours came in that box, but the plastic frame was the avocado green instead of the black.

I'm also in the Chicago area. I have a set like that but with washers. Basically a two square boxes made with 2x6's about 2 foot square with a piece of 4 inch PVC attached in the bottom, middle of the box. Get yourself about 10 big 3 inch diameter washers paint them two different colors and your set.

Yes... very additive game with a few Rolling Rocks on ice.

I'll post a picture tomorrow if your interested.

What has this world come too.

It was lawn darts for us, till Billy got impaled. Then 6 kids with bows and crossbows, shooting them strait up (or angled toward semi-ample cover), betting on who would stay the longest, till Joey got impaled. Hmm wait BB gun wars that should be safe . . ow my eye.

Bean bag, smean bag.
If a group of mimes are miming a forest and one falls down, does he make a sound?
