I'm looking for a new winter coat as the duct tape on my current one is wearing off. (not joking )
So I need to find a really nice one, but preferably under $70.
Anyone in the Xmas spirit who wants to help me out?

You haven't shopped for coats in a while, eh? It's really hard to find a high-quality winter coat for $70, but you can try REI's outlet store
or LL Bean's Sale Store which both have high-quality jackets for $75-$100.

If you want something that is going to last and still be a decent price, look into any Carhartt brand jackets. They are industrial strength and will last forever.

you can't go wrong with Beans, their no hassle lifetime guarantee mean you aren't buying one coat buy a life time of coats. And if you are around any of their factory stores you can get some good deals.

As for quality i am happy that i dropped about 300 on my North Face Gortex jacket.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!

My brother bought this J.Crew PeaCoat for me about 8 years ago. It is one of my all-time favorite jackets. It was $160 (it's $208 now), but worth every penny. I know that's more than the $70 you wanted to spend. But you can wear it with jeans or over your sports jacket or suit.

If you live somewhere with harsh winters, drop the extra cash and get a nice one: you won't regret it. My Eddie Bauer coat was around $250 when I got it 7-8 years ago, but it keeps me completely warm and dry and is still in almost-perfect condition.

Buy another roll of duct tape. Repairing your clothes with duct tape has always been cool ever since skaters used it to repair their shoes in the late 70's. As soon as the fasion industry gets wind of it, it will be everywhere! So when everyone else is trying to make their clothes look 'worn' with sand paper, then sticking duct tape to 'repair' them, you'll be like - "pffft! That's so five minutes ago"
