What does the"i" stand for on most of the apple product?

Sorry, if this is out of the topic but since I am new in Mac, I am just curious if someone knows this. Thanks.

It's left over from the day in 1998 when the iMac was introduced. At that time, I believe the 'i' stood for internet because the iMac was so easy to connect to the net and this was during the peak internet hype era.

Since then, the i just stuck as a kind of Apple trademark.
