I recently bought a new LCD, While the monitor and PowerMac were on, was cleaning the desposable protective sheet to get some dust off and accidently pressed on the middle of the screen and I ended up taking off the disposable film sheet(I was initially going to keep it due to its glossy look), and I notice that when i set the wallpaper in a solid light color there's a slight "bruise" mark in the middle of the screen. Is this permanent and will it go away and is there a way for me to fix it?

I have a similiar "bruise" on mine as well. It has been there for about 8 months and it isn't going away.
