Hi everyone,
I recently bought a samsung camcorder and noticed it has no usb on it. It does have an s-video connection. Is it possible to somehow connect this to my emac. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Seetal

Assuming it is a digital camcorder, as pretty much all are these days, you want to use the FireWire (aka iLink, IEEE-1394a) port. Just get a standard 4-pin-6-pin FireWire cable and connect it to the Mac.

Note that the USB connections for video that some camcorders have invariably DO NOT work with Macs!

Could you possibly give us the model? Some (allthough only the lower-end models) don't have Firewire/iLink/IEEE 1394.
