I just watched our kitten chase a deer off our property. Why are deer so skittish? They're pretty big, but they're so damn wimpy and dumb. Couldn't they bash you with their legs donkey style? Even though they are so wimpy there is often a population surplus of them around here. I guess they don't have many predators other than hunters, but it seems like it would be so easy for other animals to pwn a deer.

That's all I have to say about that, I think.

Well, I figured that you'd have to be pretty drunk for "deer pussies" to read as Deermocrats.

You suck at trying to randomly provoke people, you should take some lessons from me, Turtle dick.

You think the number of them is in any way related to their desire not to get in a fight?

In my experience, the attitude of deer varies from area of the country. For example, in Washington State deer are crazy skittish. Yet here in Colorado Springs, deer will walk right up to people and act aggressive to humans who are being aggressive towards them.

I don't know, they're weird. I don't think I much care for them, to be honest about it.

They're tricking us.

It's a ploy.

They will take over the world in 2012.

I for one, welcome our new Deer Overlords.

I've had deer just stare at me from 15 feet away while I honk and flash my lights at them, but this was within city limits, where I'm sure they're used to traffic and not being shot at.

Then just outside of town, we were driving through a field to go shoot some clays, and we couldn't get within 200 yards of a group of deer without them freaking out and running away.

Deer, elk, moose, antelope, and most other wild animals see dogs as wolves or coyotes. Usually wolves or coyotes would try to get the fawn. That's why so many dogs get attacked.

Your perception of the situation is incorrect, Oprah. The deer know how hard the kittens are and thus are suitably scared. You, being a mere human, are simply unaware of the insatiable megalomania and brutal aggression inherent in kittens.
Forget Skynet - the real danger is in some moron genetically engineering kittens to have opposable thumbs. Then we'd all be sorry.

Dude, you're doing it wrong. I made a sign that I hold up as I pass the deer letting them know what lemmings they are. I can't believe they are so stupid to ignore my honking and flashing.

Is it true that British people like to put bow ties on deer over there, among many other things?

Again, your perception is slightly off the mark here, Oprah. British deer are slightly more intelligent and sophisticated than other deer, and like to put bow ties on themselves. The only assistance rendered to said deer by British people is in the import of bow ties from China, because the deer barter system isn't really compatible with the renminbi.

Well, yeah, but only because you have him transported in by the Liverpool train to Derbyshire everyday so that he technically lives in the zoo, at least on paper.

It really depends on the deer you meet. Not all of them are pussies.
This one sure don't look like one to me.
You ought to keep your pussies away from this one.
