i am trying to convert a few .avi files to play on my iphone. what are the best settings for the iphone?

I've been using the standard "Optimized for iPod" setting with H.264 selected and it works quite nicely - no tinkering necessary. I haven't even tried boosting the quality slider beyond standard and it everything comes out looking pretty good.
