WHY!?!?!
What is the point?
Better things to spend money on when you're 16:
1. Clothes your mom didn't buy for you
2. Some free weights
3. A CAR
4. A stereo
5. A guitar, and guitar lessons, since even the guys who can barely play still pick up chicks with it
6. Booze, beer, pot, etc
7. Condoms
8. Date money
9. A good haircut (my last one was awful)
10. Nice shoes, or a nice watch. Not something 'techy'.
I mean, I could go on and on. A sword is like the dumbest thing I can think of you to spend your money on, since you have no use for it.
11) An RRSP
12) A cotton candy machine
13) A can of compressed air
14) Proper penis protection for when you are old enough to buy your own sword
15) Cleaner for your penis protector
16) An American flag
17) A lawn sprinkler

If you want it so badly why not wait until your eighteen and out of the house? I'm sure you'll have this out of your system and grow out of it by then. BTW the poster who suggested you learn martial arts had an excellent suggestion in that. Why not put your energies into that now and get your toy sword when you're legally an adult. Until then your mom is right.

Someone wasn't paying attention in economics class.
They're high quality, made in limited quantities by a specific person, and therefore are cheap.
Lucky we're not talking about one of these mass produced, poor quality, machine made swords. They must cost a fortune.
