Maybe because I masked it in photoshop and cleaned up the background and edges. It really was scanned.

There used to be a web site devoted to scabs of people's cats sitting on their scanner. It was pretty funny. I didn't find it on Google though, this was a few years ago, maybe it went *poof*.

I'm pretty sure that site is dead.
On a related note one day about a month ago I saw a jumping spider. I failed to kill it initially so had mercy an let it live. Now I see small baby jumping spiders everywhere an the little buggers are too fast to kill.

Yes, it catscan was one of those things that really justified the internet. I managed to save one solitary image from there that struck me as particularly pretty:
They had daily scans. I wish I'd saved some more - some of them were hilarious.
Well, for cat people, at least.

nah, i believeya, really, I was just impressed. It really wasn't even from the edges, there just doesn't seem to be any distance falloff whatsoever.
