At home (in front of the computer, obviously), drinking orange juice and listening, this moment, to Palads by Under Byen (shuffle).

I'm at home, in the lounge, watching cats wrestle with each other whilst I contemplate whether I can be bothered going out tonight or whether I should just stay home and drink alone like a proper rock star.

I'm not listening to anything at the moment. And not drinking anything either.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

On my yacht, surfing the internets whilst sipping a MaiTai from the top of a 500 pound bale of cocaine, with six gorgeous prostitutes hanging off me.

On my Coast Guard cruiser. We've just spotted a drug smuggler on a yacht, sitting on top of a huge bale of cocaine with a gaggle of young women about. We're going in now to take him down.

At the Atlanta airport dicking around on my iPhone (because I don't feel like paying $8 for Internet on my MacBook) listening to podcasts while I wait for my flight back to Boston in 2.25 hours.

That post actually made me laugh aloud, and is possibly one of the funniest things I have seen on MacNN ever. Not funny enough for me to say "lol" though...

I'm on my couch at home, using my Clamshell to try and get myself lynched, browse CubeOwner, and listening to the second CD of Soulwax Most of the Remixes. My cup of Russian Caravan has gone cold, but I'm not sufficiently civilised or well-bred that cold tea bothers me. I'm also fighting the temptation to smoke; even after almost a week on patches, I'm craving a nice, cancerous Marlboro red.

Well, I am now on some kind of Coast Guard boat, in a very small cell.
They took my iPhone, so I am texting this from a little Nokia I keep.
Anyway, send a lawyer. toodles.

I'm sitting in my home office at my "too low" desk. This thing has beaten my knees for way too long, but I haven't found a reasonable replacement that isn't just as bad. I'm relatively tall, but not that tall, and it seems that every desk I look at has something hanging off the bottom of the writing surfact about 1/2" lower than the top of my knee. The iMac makes it great, but it could be greater. My wife is off to my right on her iBook looking at one of the forums she visits. And one of the cats is muttering to himself out near the kitchen.

BlueSky, it would be important in the prosecution of your soon to be apprehended drug smuggler if the women tried to "use their wiles" on you and your crew. "Accidentally" having part of their bathing suit fall off or something would qualify for that. Play along, then provide all the details of their attempted obstructive behavior in your report. Oh, and post pictures, too.

Listening to the Jars of Clay Good Monsters album. "Oh my God" is currently cued up.

Update: God Grew Tired of Us was excellent. A very interesting documentary on the Sudan problem and culture shock. My only complaint is that it was too short.

(I just got out of bed, too, but my excuse for not going to bed till 5 AM isn’t that I was out drinking, just that... I don’t know, I just lost track of time, I guess.)

Before you do anything with yourself, I’d suggest violently destroying all evidence that anything related to Michael Dolton ever existed in your house, and stop torturing your ears so.

You’ll probably find it easier to concentrate on finding out what to do with yourself once you’ve done that, too.

Right now I'm nursing the last of my coffee and pondering doing homework...yuck. Not that it's hard, it's just a lot of writing on a simple yet vital subject. In other words, just a PITA. Also considering whether to do the homework in my jammies or to shower and dress first. Huge decisions, no? What I'd like to be doing is snuggling on the sofa with my wife, sipping hot cider and watching some sort of DVD or other. Unfortunately she's got stuff to do too. DRAT!

Cadaver, I remember those days. Two words of advice: make sure ALL the Lego is collected before anyone does anything else, and don't give in to the urge to "help" your son and wind up taking over. Been there...

Oh, yeah. Know this routine well. I'm really good at standing over him and "supervising" his lego clean-up routine.

The coffee is indeed good-I'm just running out of it. Gevalia has such lovely products, and their Dark roast is delicious. But I'm also out of cream, so I am reminded that I need to go to the store and get that and other groceries. Which means I need to get started doing something other than surfing...

Well, I went out to a field to try to get a goat to eat a tin can, but the owner of the property came outside and starting shooting into the air. I ran away, jumped into my car and drove off. However, since my adrenaline was pumping I didn't realize that I was speeding, and I got pulled over. I thought the cop was really a woman, so I flirted with her and told her that my real name was Alex Foley. He didn't really think I was funny, so I spent a night in prison. I ate some bad prison food which gave me food poisoning, so after I got out I had to rush to the hospital.

In the hospital I took some anal suppositories, and slept for a while after throwing up in the hallway. Then, once I was feeling better I decided to borrow a wheelchair and do some wheelies in the hallway like these guys I saw on TV that were doing all of these tricks in their wheelchairs. So, I did that for a while but then I was asked to leave the hospital. Once I got out, I needed a lift home but I didn't have any cash on me for a taxi. So, I went back into the hospital to offer to sell my semen, but they got really angry and nearly called the cops again!

So, I eventually walked home, but I nearly tripped once on this curb! I started to count my steps, but I got bored with that so I stopped. I did see some graffiti. I was hungry, so I decided to stop and grab some fast food at McDonalds. I saw a homeless guy steal a bunch of napkins and coffee cream, so I told a McDonalds employee, but he didn't seem to care, so I took a bunch of ketchup packets! Then, outside a saw a bunch of birds horsing around, so I threw some ketchup packets at them!

Finally, I got home, but I couldn't find my keys, so I broke into my house. Good thing I don't have an alarm! As soon as I got home I logged into MacNN to write this, because I figured that maybe if I shared this that some people here might like me.

’Twas a (bad) pun on the word ‘nurse’ (should perhaps have written, “feels better”, rather than, “gets better”).

Doesn't Earl get mad when you steal his tea?
