So iChat just turned on its own texture while I was chatting. Although very colorful I dont find it a very useful look. This "theme" ever popped up for anyone else?

Sorry if the topic title got you excited

You bastard!

That's pretty interesting though... were you running a theme while using iChat?

Are you sure?? It's so subdued and refined. It must be Apple's!

I noticed a similar glitch on the Calculator.app icon when I went to the Applications folder in the Finder... first it had a corrupt icon of bright-colored random pixels similar to what iChat was doing for you, and then for no apparent reason it just grabbed the iSync icon and when you double click it to launch the Calculator it "zooms" with the iPhoto icon:

Don't ask me why

I think Apple may have hired on long time Kaleidoscope scheme designer Martha Royer:

Looks like some of her work.
Michael: Hasn't everything been sort of discovered now by like Magellan and Cortez?

Buster: Oh, yeah yeah, those guys did a pretty good job.

I think it's angry because you have rendered many of it's siblings unidentifiable.

I've noticed that in Column view, some of my icons do this. When I click on the icon to see the preview of it, it looks normal. But in the pane prior to the preview pane, the icon looks all discolored.

Only happens occasionally.

That would've been the easter egg of the year if it was true.

Well, it kind of is [an easter egg] though! Panther only supports grayscale metal window coloring for speed-related reasons, correct?
Unless my brain is broken, those nasty colored lines are on a metal window!

Hmm, I know someone will burn me to a crisp now, so I'm going to play the "SystemUIServer Seizure" card.
