The Pro Keyboard on my Cube is nearing it's second birthday, and I was beginning to feel and hear its age. It gets very heavy use, so its 'return,' 'shift,' 'space,' and 'delete' keys were getting hard to push (unless pressed right in the center,) and becoming quite noisy. I don't know if this topic/solution has already been brought up, but there is a quick remedy for this problem. Just pop these keys off and take out the little metal support bar. You might want to wipe these off while you're at it, as mine were very, very dusty. Next, using what was readily available to me, I took some Vasaline petrolium jelly, and dabbed it fairly generously onto the four points of contact on each of these metal bars, carefully replacing them after application. These keys felt like new!! I got back the beautiful buttery action that I remember when I first got the Cube, and I didn't have to shell out $59 for a new one! Very nice!!!
