105.2. and Safari 3.0.4, latest Flash plugin (12-07)

Am I alone with this or is Flash content freezing Safari for others too?
I dont really care for Flash but with so much advertising being done with Flash nowadays it really makes surfing unbearable, just about any site with a Flash asset locks Safari right up.
Cant Youtube, cant check myspace or pretty much anything with Flash.

If its not widespread Im gonna do a fresh install.
BTW, this happens with Camino on my Machine too.

Flash is like kudzu now. I use Safari 3 but with SafariBlock. This gets rid of the horrible flash ads.

i use flashblock with firefox as well and there's also some greasemonkey scripts that offer the same functionality.

using a 1.3ghz 12" powerbook G4, i find that it's usually my machine that is underpowered when it comes to flash these days as flash has really come a long way in terms of what it is capable of doing, annoying or not.

Safari Stand stops plugins including Flash from loading, but allows them to load and run if you click the space over them. It works very similarly to Flashblock for Firefox.

Safari 3.1 is working for me now with the annoying Flash stuff still enabled. The only reason I want it enabled is to listen to friends' bands new songs on myspace.
