I think he was refering to my optimus prime desktop pic post (I need to trim down the size of that...). So that makes at least three mac heads at the U of Illinois.

I don't think people were complaining, but it is inappropriate for a public forum (Not that I care if there's a naked lady or not... heh)

I love the 747 pic! A little bright for my tastes, but cool nonetheless.

You can extract it from the HIToolbox.rsrc file, where all the Finder icons are located.

it's the normal 32 one, scaled; looks pretty crappy in X.

Looks like someone's been playing around with the Maya tutorials
Could you post a high-rez picture of your Maya workspace, with some objects in "wireframe over shaded surface" mode ?
Since 3.5.1, I don't get the nice smoothing thing anymore on the isoparms. They now look way too sharp and dotty to allow for efficient work...
I just want to know if I'm alone with this problem or not.

This is pretty simple, you only got to edit your /etc/motd file. Check around on the MacOSX Unix forum to know how to do ansi color.

As far I know, there isn't any OS X icon set of Family Guy. Someone could make it but I think you have to ask for permission first. I remember someone told me that Simpsons Icon set was made with permission from FOX but I'm not sure.

Nope, I really have a G4/400 with a 19" monitor. I just took my monitor down to the lowest setting and the icons up to the biggest to see what would happen.

You don't find the slight POON exposure to be suggestive of something that shouldn't be displayed on a forum open to the public?

Hmmm

Oh and I made that icon set of Family guy icons... you can get it on my website along with others.
