Can I fit a 1.5 ghz logic board in a powerbook that had a 1 ghz logic board originally?
Is there any way to test a hard drive outside of the computer? Just to see if it is working?

Thanks

You can use an external usb or FW case to test the drive.

Quick update incase someone else has a similar question.
You can't upgrade the logic board. If you have a 1 GHZ that's what you have to replace it with. I bought a new one off of ebay for $250 and my powerbook is now working again after having a glass of wine spilt on it Typing on it now
