I need a new server. I need something that supports 10.2 Officially, XPostFacto doesn't count. I don't need power, so even a base model 233 MHz machine would be fine. The main thing here is PRICE. It needs to be cheap! If you happen to have a G4 going for dirt cheap, i'll take it, but generally what i'd need is a basic PowerMac G3. Factory Equipment is fine. Don't try and sway me with your ZIP drives etc, I just don't need them. All I need is something that I can run 10.2 supported on, and hopefully all newer OS's for a while to come. And something that can hold a few PCI cards. :-D

OK. It is a Beige G3 desktop 266. 160 MB RAM. 4 gig HD. Currently running OS 10.1.5 (I can install any Apple OS for you) and doing some serving needs across my network, but really I use it little and it is a great machine. $200 shipped to your door.

The tower can hold more stuff inside than a desktop. I think thats about the sum of it, it is for me anyway.

It has the built in 4GB HD, plus I added a U2W SCSI card connected to a 10 GB HD. It also has a modem, zip drive, etc.

I'm asking $400 or best offer.

Interested?

I don't need a modem, zip drive or a SCSI drive/card. Plus i'm looking for something preferably in the < $100 area.

And by IT I assume you are refering to a computer you are offering me? Just for shits and giggles, how fast is it, and how much RAM does it have? And which model is it anyway?
