I just got a powerbook, its beautiful but alas because of my divorce I am forced to sell it. I have posted it in the Marketplace but GAH its so sad.. less than a week old.

Sorry to hear that.
Not tryin' to be insensitive but you say you just bought the Powerbook?
Looks like you would have seen the divorce coming long before buying the computer. Common sense would have said this is not a good time to make a big purchase.

well I didnt count on the soon-to-be-ex wiping out my entire checking and savings acct.

That can't be legal can it? I'd see about getting what's yours back. I'd keep an eye on credit cards too so someone doesn't max it out and ditch the bill on the other.

That really sucks man... just look at it this way... it can only get better... I'm sure you'll be able to get another one in the near future... besides maybe by the time you can afford one again it will be a G5.

At least in Michigan, once someone is served with divorce papers any debts incurred by either party belong to that party alone. So make sure you get the process rolling.
