hi -- wondering if the assembled mac pundits have any advice as to the following:

will there be any speed difference in an new intel iMac with a single 1Gig DIMM installed vs. a 1Gig & a 512MB DIMM (yes, I know 2 x 1Gig is optimal, but I need to save $$$). In other words, with respect to memory interleaving, in the non-optimal situation of not having 2 DIMMs of equal capacity installed, is there any difference between having a single DIMM and two DIMMS of unmatched size?

tx,
ox
