Happy Labor Day all.
I have an iPhone 4 that was dropped in a sink for 5 seconds. I have dried it out for 2 days completely using the rice method. It still doesnt boot or show any sign of life. I heard the battery could be bad so I was Wondering if I remove the battery and plug it in a charger, would a working iPhone be able to boot, or will it not unless it has a battery installed.
Thanks all

At the end of it I should have said would the iphone not boot unless I have a good battery installed, right now I opened the case and removed the battery, would a working phone boot when plugged in?
