Hey all,
I'm trying to fix a powerbook 160 for a friend of mine, and what is happening is when I hit the power key the computer turns on for a second and then turns back off... I'm guessing I need to reset the power managment, but I can't remember how to do it... can anyone remind me???

Thanks,
Crow
p.s.--> are there any adverse effects to reseting the power managment???

There is a specific TIL from Apple for that.
It is the number 14449.

It includes the power manager reset procedures for every PB ever.

The URL is http://til.info.apple.com/techinfo.nsf/artnum/n14449

Next time you'll have technical questions, check the : http://til.info.apple.com/
for all the help you need. bye
