Swwwettttt. A fully CG motion piture is rumoured to be in development and is going to be released in 2007. I liked the original movie when it came out like 10 years ago, but i think a CG TMNT movie would be a hell of a lot better.
Bodateous.

Do you guys think they should make a gay ninja turtle? I mean, after all, they are based on gay italian artists.
I could see it now, parents would love it.
The gay turtle would have to be something different like a snapping turtle, becuase he's too stylish to be an ordinary turtle.

Donatello was the gay one... DUH! He wore purple, was never really quite accepted by the other ones? You didn't pick it up? Actually my church is going to go and protest his very existence tomorrow! (Of course I'm joking, my church is filled with people of varying perspectives, many of whom would be incredibly pissed off if our church officially did or said anything hateful towards a gay person or gay people in general. Heck I wore a neck tie on my pants for a whole year without anyone even questioning if I should be helping with the youth group ).

wow. i remember when this comic/cast of characters used to mean something to me.
the stuff was a bit silly, but definitely had a serious side. all my x-men reading friends thought i was crazy and the idea of a bunch of turtles with swords was really dumb. i believe some of them said "it will never catch on!". looking back, i wish they would have been proved right. talk about selling out, ****.

I still have my turtle blimp in my parents' attic. I learned how to work nunchucks because of the Turtles.
They rock.

I'd recommend that anyone interested in turtles pick up the current comic book- i won't ruin any suprises, but there have been some interesting changes (plus, its always good to see my old favorites in action).

I really liked the first Ninja Turtles movie. One of the special effects guys lived down the street from my friend in Saratoga. He had one of the stunt heads for Leonardo (foam rubber, but didn't move) It was really cool.

two things I remeber of ninja turtles
1. running home from the bus stop cause it started just as I would get home if I really leg'ed it.
2. battling with my mates about who can who can draw the best turtle. Got the style down pretty good after a while.
