I installed iTunes 5 this afternoon and then looked in the Receipts folder and found iTunesPhoneDriver.pkg next to the iTunesX.pkg for iTunes 5.0
What the heck is iTunesPhoneDriver.pkg . I didn't ask for that to be installed. I looked all over iTunes 5 for some explanation but couldn't find any.

It's for the iTunes phone (Motorola ROKR), duh. What the hell else would it be for?

The new phone thing, it's in the readme. You can avoid installing it by opening up the .mpkg folder and simply installing iTunes.pkg in resources.

I manually downloaded the installer (couldn't wait for SU) and noticed that if you do a Customize Install, the phone driver was listed (~150K I think) but you couldn't uncheck it.
