I think the biggest bang was the one where the first Dual G4 shipped, New LCD monitors, the G4 Cube and the new Optical mouse (which was also free for people who attended like me). Also new iMac colours shipped that keynote. It doesn't get much better then that!

Yeah, PowerBook G4 for sure.

That keynote also had the 733Mhz PowerMacs, the SuperDrive and iDVD, and I believe set a firm date for OS X.

But the G5 intro wasn't bad either.

My favorite was MacWorld Boston 1997 for one, small particular reason. It was truly incredible to experience a key part of Macintosh history as Bill Gates came on the video screen and Steve Jobs announced that Microsoft would be purchasing $150 million of Apple Computer stock....

The one where they demoed OS X with Aqua for the first time.

I've never seen so many shell-shocked developers in my life - the dude from Microsoft looked like he'd just sh!t a brick!

Yeah, they netbooted all those iMacs (like a 5x10 grid of them).

Also Macworld NY 1999 where the iBook and AirPort were introduced: wireless network connection--my jaw was on the floor. Plus, Phil Schiller jumped onto a trampoline to show the iBook durability.

I'm with Ironknee about Macworld SF 99. I saw it entirely on TechTV. I was totally blown away with the 50 iMac deal, the smurftowers and the whole iMac colors deal.

It's gonna be interesting to see what problems arise with the iPod colors and resellers and such.

January 2001...

They intro'd the PowerBook G4 that I'd been waiting 18 months for. Had one ordered in an hour. Only keynote I woke up early to see.

oh, and the one where they intro'd the flat panel iMac, not because of the keynote, but because of the hype with Apple's webpage, and the TimeCanada leaked article on it. It was hilarious.

Last years keynote was my favorite. Mainly because it was the first one I attended. Lots of cool stuff was introduced. No one was expecting a 12" and 17" PowerBook. Plus the whole iLife suite and introduction of Keynote, Safari and Final Cut Express.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

When Steve became Apple CEO.

That moment!

P1 is the codename for the clamshell iBook in 1999

Yeah, he even fooled around with a damn hula hoop to drive the point home, lol. I'd love to revisit that one.

Also, Pro. Go. Whoa. was a nice teaser way back when teasers still made sense.

Well you have to remember the interweb generally didn't contain much video back then, so it's unlikely you'll find any. Post if you do though.
