All these discussion are very useful in determining whether I want to switch or wait, but they started before the official version of OS 9 was released. Are you talking about problems in the shipping version, or are you still using beta's? Thanks... marc

most if not all are using betas of OS 9, that is until perhaps the past few days since some have recieved the GM release (so-called final release)

I'm using my brand-spanking-new-right-out-of-the-Apple-box version of OS 9. I guess I was one of the lucky 450 or however many got theirs early.

On Oct. 12 I got my "official" version too from Apple. It's great being "blessed" by Apple ;-)
