Does anyone know how much OS 7.6 cost when it came out, or how much it cost in the first quarter of 1997? I'm trying to gauge the downshifts and upshifts of its price.

off the top of (what's left of) my head, my recollection is that all MacOS'es since about 7.5 have been approximately the same price at release, about $90-100

Can you still get Mac OS 7.6 and if so how much does it cost?
