When I woke this morning, I thought that resolving wffs meant:

1. Breaking your wff into clauses
2. Transforming your clauses into Conjunct Normal Form
3. Eliminating any existential quantifiers
4. Replacing variables with constants
5. Eliminating clauses

However, after a talk with my professor I found that my error was in #4. Only variables can be replaced with constants, other variables, or functions of themselves ( that's weird eh? ), and constants can be replaced with other constants.

At 8 am, I found out what Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors, and Eigenspaces are. At 8:30, I found out that they are useful for many applications, including some statistical computation. At 9 am, I found out that I didn't like Eigenvectors :-p

Around 2 pm I learned a chapters worth of material on virtual memory. At 4 pm, after two hours of being lectured on Virtual Memory, I found out that the people who figured out how to implement virtual memory are smarter than I will probably ever be.

Eigenvectors are really useful. Especially when you start doing spectral theory, all the stuff you learn now suddenly seems trivial

What did you learn in school today, dear little boy of mine?
I learned that Washington never told a lie
I learned that soldiers seldom die
I learned that everybody's free
That's what the teacher said to me
And that's what I learned in school today
That's what I learned in school

What did you learn in school today, dear little boy of mine?
I learned that policemen are my friends
I learned that justice never ends
I learned that murderers die for their crimes
Even if we make a mistake sometimes
And that's what I learned in school today
That's what I learned in school

What did you learn in school today, dear little boy of mine?
I learned that war is not so bad
I learned about the great ones we have had
We fought in Germany and in France
And someday I might get my chance
And that's what I learned in school today
That's what I learned in school

What did you learn in school today, dear little boy of mine?
I learned that our government must be strong
It's always right and never wrong
Our leaders are the finest men
So we elect them again and again
And that's what I learned in school today
That's what I learned in school

A load of **** about Origen's theology and about Patristic Trinitarian thought. Had four hours sleep last night, again. Was very nearly enough to put me to sleep except it was a one-on-one tutorial.

I learned that the hard part of writing an RSA encryption system is not implementing the algorithm, which is fairly simple, but in getting your encrypted data into a file in such a way that it's easy to properly extract it again later for decryption.

I also learned that Battle Royale is a good way to stay awake when you're not left with enough time before class to get sleep.

I learnt how to connect my iMac to my Powerbook using a crossover cable.

It's not the least bit obvious how to do this. Help was of no help.

Now, instead of using firewire mode, I can just connect them. Too bad there is only one ethernet connection per computer.

That after replacing the battery in your nice $100+ watch, a thick, fluffy washcloth is not enough protection as you attempt to snap the back on with a pair a pliers because...POOF, the face glass will shatter with even a little pressure.

Ugh, I'm sick about it.

I just finished my training for a new job today, so I'm still learning a lot of stuff specific to my job, which I won't bore you with the details. IMO, my training will never truly be done, and tonight I learned stuff that has given me a list of things to work on perfecting the next time I work.

hehe. but what else can i use to embed the content of an external website? my manager came to me yesterday, saying "we want a new page on our site. but all the content will come from sitexyz" (job postings). using an iframe seems much easier than d/ling that content to a file and using a ssi or the like.
