Check out accusition, its pretty darn good...

This is the lounge, which is normally reserved for off topic conversations that can't be covered under the scope of the dedicated areas. Where as applications lounge is dedicated for just what you were looking for and has several articles that cover such programs...

K... Cheers

Anyhow, my vote goes to Amule, it's one million times better than anything else I've ever tried on Mac, and I've tried most of 'em.

I don't think there's an eMule for Mac, the version I'm talking about is called aMule.

http://www.amule.org/

I could never get the emule/edonkey network to work on my Mac before, and aMule is the first program that has worked.

The search results I get on there is just ridiculous. As an example, I was looking for this old 80's prOn movie I remember, and BOOM ! There it was, thanks to aMule ! No way was that movie on any other network.

There's so many damn people on the emule/edonkey network. Gnutella/Limewire blows in comparison. I guess it depends exactly what one is looking for.

Xfactor is IMHO the best p2p app for OS X... not that I'm a big p2p fan. I think less than 5% of my music is downloaded from somewhere other than iTunes, and it's only cause I can't get it on iTunes.

That's weird. All I can offer of info is that I have been using the program (ver 2.0.2) without any problem on Mac OSX 10.3.9. Is the image itself corrupt or does it download fine and it won't start ? A window comes up saying "damaged" when you try to run it ?

Is this the one you downloaded, the zip version for Mac OSX ?

I like to use Poisoned. It seems to get good results.
