Howdy all,
For those of you who have bought the first two bundles, you already know about MacHeist. For those that don't, here's the scoop:
You can buy 12 great applications at over an 80% discount. The list includes:
iClip - $30 retail
CoverSutra - $23 retail (one of my favorite apps ever, by the way)
Awaken - $13 retail
Cha-Ching - $40 retail
Xslimmer - $12 retail
WriteRoom - $25 retail
DEVONthink Personal - $40 retail
Wallet - $15 retail
Overflow - $15 retail
and 3 great Pangea games:
Enigmo - $20 retail
Nanosaur 2 - $25 retail
Bugdom 2 - $30 retail
Altogether, well over $250 worth of software for only $49. The offer's good for a month, so get it while it's hot
Check it out

What a utter useless compilation.
Th only thing worth anything is DevonThink, and that can be had 5 cents cheaper just by itself.

Nice that a referral link is used in that announcement. How about just macheist.com?

That's unnecessarily harsh, IMO. There are a couple of nice apps in there.

Nice apps in eye candy, or nice apps as in good functionality ?
I don't see the latter, except DevonThink.
For most other apps, I know more powerful or cheaper solutions.

It must have been divine intervention. This is the Board God's way of telling me to let him and the thread live on.

Seems kind of a useless group of applications to me.
Also can some explain why this is not viewed as spam but other very similar "announcements" are?

I know of MacHeist and took its legit history into account. I considered it a worthwhile announcement/promotion for the community and Mac developers, and figured it was better to remove the affiliate link and allow the thread to continue than delete it as spam.
