I driving two hours to the Apple Store to pick it up when I get off of work at 5 pm PST. I decided to buy it in store so I can look at the difference between the matte and glossy screens. Hopefully, the store I am going to won't be too chaotic with the release of the iPhone. I tried to make an appointment, but they aren't making them today. They are even closing between 2 pm and 6 pm to prepare for the iPhone release.

About 8 more hours to go.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Yeah, the iphone is going to make the place a zoo.

fwiw, the applestore I went to had both glossy and matte on display but only had the matte flavor in stock. I've heard from others who had a similar experience. I'm not sure if things have changed but keep that in mind.

I called this morning to verify that they had both the matte and glossy in stock. Hopefully what the guy told me is true and they do.

I would do it tomorrow or Sunday, but I have plans this weekend and wouldn't be able to.

Thanks. I found out that check was sitting in Fremont for three weeks. Pisses me off that it didn't occur to anyone to notify me.

Update:

The line was really nothing at the store though they had tons of people on staff. I was unable to pick up my MBP though. I had hit the per day spending limit on my debit card (wasn't aware of one). I just ordered it from the Apple store and I should have it in a week or so.

I was shocked when I went to an Apple Store a couple days ago, not only did I get in the door, but when I headed over to the section of the store that was packed with people, sure enough it was the iPhone section, and I found one to play with right away, with nobody pressuring me to give it up. They must have had at least 15-20 on display.
