moving an eBook to iBooks only on an iPad

how does one take an eBook that came on an email solely on the iPad as an attachment in Mail and move it to iBooks app to read?

not connected to iMac and itunes while traveling.

What happens if you just open it from the mail? That usually works for me.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
