Heyy, so my uncle has lent me his imac whilst hes out working for a few months.

and the other day, me and my dad were just looking at sutff, and we did import photos, ( i'd already been using it for like 2 weeks) and all the pictures from my friends display pic on msn came up? :S

why? how come they're all saved? i dont want to give this back to my uncle with loads of my friends pics on, which i didnt even save.

is there any way i can stop this or delete them ?

thanks.

Let your uncle delete them, otherwise you might delete something you shouldn't.

I don't quite understand. Are you saying you imported photos into iPhoto? Where are these pictures? Just delete them if you must.

It sounds like MSN saves your friend's buddyicons and then iPhoto found the folder they're saved in and added them to the library.

Delete them from the MSN cache and from iPhoto. Don't forget to empty the trash.

Does MSN messenger save chat transcripts (as iChat can do)? If so, they might be cached in those.
