I've got a G4 Titanium PowerBook that is in need of serious repairs. I've already got all my needed case parts on the way, but I've discovered that the current hard drive's SMART status is reporting as "Failing". Therefore, I'd like to get my hands on the replacement parts I need ASAP so I can get everything fixed all at the same time.

I'm looking for:

~One ATA hard drive, preferably at least 20 GB, working condition
~A full install copy of at least Panther

Please help!

I don't have any parts for you, but here is a suggestion for a drive:

And if your TiBook will run leopard:

However, I've not seen any really reputable sellers with 10.4, so eBay may be your only bet. That 120GB drive will be the biggest that fits, so it is a great deal.

Actually, I just grabbed a hard drive on eBay.

And I'm really looking for something even as old as Panther, as my PB is really only a secondary computer to my G4 PowerMac. I'm mainly going to be using it for basic school stuff in the fall, so I don't really want to go so far as Leopard.

So I guess all I really need at this point is OS X.
