I'm working on a script and I would like to mount (and then unmount) an Appletalk volume from the command-line.

I can of course go to the Go menu, then Local Network and type in the address, select a disk, and it mounts, but it's just something that I need to do once a day and I want to automate it and not have the volume mounted all day long.

Thanks.

Add it to the favorites. No code needed

It's possible to mount it from the cmd-line, however it would look like a directory on your hard disk and not like a separate volume in the finder.

<font face = "courier">
usage: mount_afp [-o option1[,option2...]]
afp://[username assword]@rhost[ ort]/volume node
</font>

"<font face = "courier">node</font>" is the directory it should be mounted to.
