It has been ported. Fink has it.

A native version? a version where I don't have to install Fink? or can I use it with X11 instead of Fink?

Why don't you want to install Fink?

You could install it without Fink, but since gnucash depends on many other OpenSource projects, you would have to download them all manually, compile them, install them etc...

With Fink, you just click on "install" and Fink will download all needed applications automatically and install them for you.

Fink is a package manager, it just installs software. The application itself will run under X11 once it is installed.

I've had fink on my computer for over a year now, and have had no problems as a result.

So, I need to install Apples X11, then Fink and then any packages. Is that right?

Apple's X11, the X11 SDK (which is on the same page, scroll down), then fink, then the packages.

Install Apple X11 if you want apple's version, if not fink will install xdarwin which is "just" less optimized, but works fine.
No just install Fink. then in a terminal type "fink install gnucash", fink will ask you if it can install all needed packages, answer yes, and take a break.

You will need the developers tools in order to use fink.
