basically I'm trying to find out if I installed the thing right! I have a G4 Quicksilver 867 and the installation seemed pretty easy..slide it in and attach the antenna! I can't set up the network yet because the iBook with the other airport card is still in the shop after a hard drive meltdown, and the D-Link router I have (DI-624) has some problem tech support deemed due to hardware (LAN port bad, not lighting up, won't connect to browser configurator)..so I'll be exchanging that...but in the meantime can I check the status of the airport card somehow? I installed the latest software for it once it was in, but it doesn't show up in the system profiler..well actually under Hardware there IS "airport card," but when selected it says "no information found." so should I worry? or do I just wait until I get all the other components in order?
thanx in advance!!!
