At least in beta, Mac OS X looked 1000 times better than that mess M$ calls Windows. Yuck.

Longhorn runs on a Quantum CPU that has no measurable clockspeed because human observation causes quantum changes. It says 3Ghz but when a person uses the computer it feels like 300Mhz. The same with the Quantum Network. It's says 1 Gbit but in use, read the image, it's like butterfry.

Longorn is still more than a year away. It will be crap to begin with for sure. Mac OS X has become polished and presentable as the replacement OS for Mac OS 9 only now with 10.4 (aka Tiger). How long it will take MS to polish their new system in anyone's guess but it took Apple more than 4 years.
