Hi all
I'm looking for a good cheap icon editor. By cheap I mean a shareware about 30 bucks at the most.
i just want to create icons images for web design stuff.
Under XP i used IconWorkshop, it does not seem to be mac compatible.
Thanks

If you're just trying to create file icons, you can use ANY graphics program you like, and just copy the finished image (including transparency and shadowing in png's) and paste that right into the Get Info box (you need to click on the file's icon at the upper left, giving it a yes-it's-selected blue halo).
Done.
Edit: Sorry. I didn't notice the "web design stuff" in your post. My apologies.

There is also an app called Icon Composer in leopard (developer tools) which will let you make .icns files from any image you want. It does all the masking from the image you provide - so PNG files work quite well. It doesn't do everything - but what it does do is quite handy.
