Know this is an oldish thread but I just wanted to ask someone, is there a point in purchasing a G4 cube for approximately $450? It comes with everything ie. mouse, screen and keyboard and it looks in good condition. How upgradeable is a G4? I'm wanting to purchase this just to get a feel of a Mac desktop before purchasing an iMac.

the cubes are fine, but i think you'd get a better idea with a g4 iMac 15" i think these are going on ebay for as low as $250. good luck. it would be faster than a cube, too
