I've been looking and searching for a great game, preferably played on Mac.
I have Boot Camp Running with XP Pro and I've tried demo's of different games like Gears of War (full Game), Crysis & Timeshift. They all play OK, but I'm just looking for some advice on a cool FPS game. I've browsed the net, but good Mac games are limited & I don't want to run games on Boot Camp, unless it's a PC only game.

I have a new 20" iMac with 4GB RAM.

Cheers

Currently I'm playing Serious Sam 2, but I liked the 1st one better.

I also have the demo of UT3, but I'm waiting for UT3 on Mac!!!

Prey is pretty sweet, which you can get for Mac.
I have returned... 2020 MacBook Air - 1.1 GHz Quad-Core i5 - 16 GB RAM

Thanx, I'm downloading the demo now for Mac. I've so many demo's now on my iMac in both PC & iMac. Really looking for a great game. I actually really liked Crysis, but in the end it just seemed like the game is gonna take ages to finish.
Anyway, I'll see what prey is like.

Timeshift is really cool. I've read reviews and most of them isn't too good, it's an average FPS, but I really like the demo, doesn't matter if some of the game play was taken from other games, it's fun to play, so far. Will give it another week.

Bioshock is the best FPS I've ever played. If you're into darker stuff with a storyline you can get into, give it a shot. No Mac version though....

Quake 4 is quite enjoyable. Try downloading some old FPSs like Doom and Quake, and get an OpenGL application to run 'em. They're great spot of old school fun. I'll also second the nod to Prey.

team fortress 2 is just brilliant. awesome class/team based fps. i really hate the whole random 'critical' system though.

not all who wander are lost.
