hi, i recently start to use leopard but i find it 1/ rather unstable c.f. tiger and crash more often while tiger really rock solid in MBP 2.4Gb C2d, 2/ as for me time machine is the main attract for switching to leopard but as mentioned in other threads , i just feel desperate and finally force me to quit time machine ,
so my question is : can i switch back to tiger? can i just instal the tiger by te " installation dics with MBP"( mine is tiger based MBP, 2007 version) ?

Yes, you can go back to Tiger by using the disks that came with your MBP.
