I am getting close to buying a g4. one of the the uses for it will be to import from a minidisc recorder poetry read by my students and then once i edit it on the computer burn it onto cds. I would like to hear from anyone who imports from minidisc. . .are they using a special card or are they just using the existing audio connections on the g4???

Just connect the audio-in port on the G4 to the audio-out of your MD player and you should be all set.

If you need the best quality possible, you could buy an audio card with digital inputs.
