I have a little OS 9.1 droplet that I use on occasion to make a folder invisible. To get the folder visible again I have to use ResEdit however. Is there a way that I can make it visible again using the power of Unix and the simplicity of the Mac?

You can change the invisible flag from the terminal with SetFile. Type man SetFile to see how.

I use a little program called TinkerTool. I think this will do what you want it to do. It can be found at versiontracker.com.
