This is something that has sprung into my mind.
Is it just me, or have some Apple employees begun to offer their services here for no apparent reason? I have nothing against this or what they do, but it seems interesting to me that they have just now shown up. Was this handed down from above (as in from upper management) as a new way for Apple to get opinions from the users? Or was it just one person who did it as an experiment to then have more people follow?
Just curious.

I think that's the case. Sal the Applescript PM started posting here and over at Appleinsider, of all places, after PS X P came out. His thread here has been a success. Maybe that promted other Apple PMs to come here to promote the technology.

It is strange tho - I notice that both Sal and the ColorSync guy's posts used virtually identical lingo - like they were copied out of a corporate email that was sent out directing PM's to get in touch with the users.
A commendable effort on Apple's part - to hear what we think since we've been yelling at them for years.
I hope some good comes out of it.
