Well I have been sifting through threads on various sites all day. Basically I have a G4 Quicksilver machine. I have been trying to install OSX 10.2 all day but after the installer finishes and reboots my system halts and I get a screen asking me to reboot. I reboot and same thing happens. I have tried seting my system hardware back to factory condition. No go... I have tried different RAM configurations, I have tried cleaning my install disk. I have removed all periphials that were not essential. I have reset the PRAM. I have been doing a clean install and using the disk utility to format and partition the disk before installation. I have basically tried everything that anyone on any board has come up with and I still am having problems. I know a lot of other users are stuck with this same dilema. Can we get a thread going and try to solve this issue? Or if I have not stumbled on the thread or site that directly addreesses this problem could some kind soul please inform me. I have been though Apple's site and haven't found anything useful. I have booted into single user mode and I get a kernel panic and then the system freezes and I can't do anything. I would appreciate any input and hopefully I can get this thing running.

Thanks!
