A muted Shinobi meets Lutetium meets NEOS meets smoooooooth metal!!
Here is another beauty from the original author of Avenger (for Windows) : Multipas Carbon by Mike Bryant

The screenshot may not do this theme full justice because of some of the cool effects - for example: the highlighted menu items are a faintly shimmering blue without being unreadable. Of course, similar to Avenger, Mike has paid exceptional attention to details in this theme.

@macman4000 : what do you think ?!!

ps. i have not contacted Mike to let him know that his theme is being shown to the public here. if there is any interest in porting this, we can get in touch with him then.

I like it...

I would be up to it, in about a week or two. I need a break, and some time to tweak my new website.

EDIT: the more I think about it, the more I think it will be a longer wait until I can stat on this... I still need to make app skins for Avenger, and a few other minor fixes.

Glad you guys like that WB skin, Mike B. did an excellent job on it. For reference, it was based on this media player design: http://www.deviantart.com/view/9420043/

I should have mentioned R Peter Clarks' name in my first post because MikeB paid homage to his talents in his credits. Excellent work!

@gautch: the *shiver* was due to your reference to the Mac in CAPITALS

Thanks! No I don't do any work on/for Macs actually, not that I am opposed to it, just don't have the hardware. I lurk around here to see what's up with the theming community, lots of great work gets shown in these forums.

I was going to say it as I have been drooling over your Winamp skin for some time. I wish someone would, ignoring anything Bryant has done on Windowblinds, make a gorgeous SS theme out of your Winamp skin. *HINT HINT* Particularly that glossy, shiny black carbon variant.

The top version looks very OS9-ish to me... the bottom one looks like it was inspired by the preview images of BBX Omega - which will be released any day now!

It's "Mac" not MAC. MAC is Machine Address Code or something like that. And it's also not "MAC" who makes Mac's and iPods, it's Apple. Normally you get flamed when you say "MAC".

looks nice. a very 'cyber' looking theme if you can call it that.

but is it possible to have that blue highlighted text, for the selected window? well, maybe with SS 2, but i guess we only have to wait a bit more to see...

also, if anyone's thinking of doing this port... you know a neon green variant is almost mandatory.
