Does anyone know the difference between the 12" 1.33, and the current 12" 1.5s? Are the video cards different? Apple has a deal on refurb 12" 1.33 and I like the price, but what am I giving up, getting last rev? if its only .2 Ghz, I'll take it.

The graphics *chips* are the same, but the one in the 1.5 GHz machine is clocked internally slightly faster. Otherwise, the video systems are the same. The graphics performance is slightly better, but not much.

Thanks. I'll probably go with the 1.33 then, if they're still available when my funding comes through.

Note though that CPU speed also helps with graphics performance so the faster CPU does help as well.

Go for the 1.33GHz model,my girlfriend has the 1.5GHz model and we see no difference at all in games or other programs...Both machines have 1.25GB RAM. I would get the Rev C and max out the memory and buy some nice accessories with the money you're saving.

Being newer, the 1.5 GHz machine will have a higher resale value. Also, it takes more memory and has enhanced bluetooth.

The 1.5GHz does not take more memory, both max out at 1.25GB.

Oops. You're right. I was thinking way back to the 867 MHz machine.

and why would I care about enhanced bluetooth? Its a stop gap machine, but the one I wanted has already sold. Curse my rusted metal body, I was too slow.
