I have the chance to get my hands on a used eMac (not sure of the specs yet) for $75. The only catch is that the ethernet port does not work. Is there a way around this such as a USB adapter or something? Thanks.

Airport? Though I'm not sure if all eMacs could take an Airport card...

Install an Airport card. There's also IP over Firewire.

Go for it! You should be able to install an Airport card. I do believe all eMacs have this capability.

In my 700 eMac, there is a panel above the optical drive that you remove with 2 screws. Behind the panel- airport card slot.

$75 is a heck of a deal!
